We're Moving...

Big News MARNē Fam __ WE ARE MOVING.

We’ve spent the last 6 years at 350 E Locust Street. Saying goodbye to this place can only mean one thing: we’ve found something so special that it was time to go.

We’re not moving far, but wow — we’re going to miss this block. We’ve weathered a lot in Unit 101. Seasons of business I’ll never quite wrap my head around. COVID for one… like, what the actual f? That hit in our 3rd month here. What a riot.

And my neighbor — don’t even get me started. I’ll cry. I found my best friend next door at Jane's. We didn’t even know each other before we became shop pals. Still, for six years, we’ve bounced ideas off each other, survived COVID, had midday chats, helped each other in moments of panic, borrowed supplies, had happy hours, promanades, post-promenade Clydes dinners… carpooled. You name it. We’ve weathered it all. Okay, I’m crying.

This decision is scary. I’m leaving my comfort zone. I’m leaving my friend. I’m taking on financial risk and putting it all out there for the sake of this new space. But here’s the thing: I’ve dreamed of 505 E Locust since before MARNē was even a pop-up. It’s exactly what I envisioned — an older building with character. A space that’s been loved deeply, most recently by my friends at @ephemera_design — one of the most impactful and longest-running businesses in the East Village. I feel so lucky to call it our new home.

I hope you’ll follow MARNē there and tell all of your friends.. In the meantime, please continue to support our shop, whether in-store or from afar. It's the only way to keep this little dream floating on.
