 Back Beat Co was a brand that we found on instagram and quickly fell in love with. Their easy style and low-key mission for better clothes had us smitten from the start. 

Who We Are

Back Beat Rags is a 100% California born & raised lifestyle brand created by Isadora Alvarez.

What started as a shop specializing in vintage tees soon transitioned into cut-above fashion basics. That means we focus on the usual suspects like easy, wearable tees, sweatshirts, and dresses and then we infuse vintage-inspired details done in a fresh and modern way.

We take cues from old school California surf ‘n’ skate culture and combine it with whats currently going on in the streets. While we may be obsessed with classics, we make sure our collections has a little bit of what’s on-trend in color and shape.

Our goal? To give you that effortless cool factor California girls are known for.

All our clothing is made here in Los Angeles. We buy locally knitted fabric and work with small, family owned businesses. That way, BackBeatRags supports local makers and create jobs at every rung of the supply ladder, while also minimizing our environmental imprint.

We incorporate environment-friendly practices in our designs by using low-impact goods like GOTS-certified organic cotton, recycled cotton, hemp, and tencel. We also use 100% post consumer recycled mailers and clothing bags for shipping.

The best part? We make our price-point super accessible so that every last one of you can afford our dope clothes.
